[Documentary] At the end of January, the idea was to meet @pame_orozcodonoso and have a beer. But plans changed when, instead of a bar, she invited me to meet at the performative opera piece "Sun & Sea" at the Centro Cultural La Moneda, Chile. With a toy camera, I played to be the beach photographer who walks around offering a long-lasting memory to the beachgoers. About "Sun & Sea": An opera-performance by: Rugilė Barzdžiukaitė, Vaiva Grainytė and Lina Lapelytė Curator: Lucia Pietroiusti Producer (tour): Aušra Simanavičiūtė Production...
Paula Riquelme, choreographer and directress of the performance theater company “Maraña”, has spent years working on a multidisciplinary project. [Essay] It feels like a farewell. Whenever I photograph him, I think that click might be the last. And yet, It's not admiration, but recognition of what he gave and what he tried to forcibly hand over to his family. Without any charm, I'm lucky enough to receive the camera he used back in the day, the same one that photographed him that day. So far, so good. I became a photographer and that has given him a kind of joy. A week ago I wrote him: "Thank you opa for introducing me to the photograph, the best gift ever". So far, no answer on the phone.
