Berlin March 2020.
One day at work, a fellow Italian at the cafe where I used to cook (the last side job I would ever have) said that his grandmother's town was quarantined because of the virus coming from China. No one was ready but the owner was starting preparations for something we didn't understand. Little by little we began to reduce the shifts and with that, the routine was quickly dismembered. Anna, a colleague from that same café, was working on a new album. Before we all left, another colleague, also a musician, lent us the rooftop of his apartment to take some pictures with the first rays of spring 2020. Sometime later I gave up the café and threw myself headlong into photography. Anna continued with her musical career.
